Dan Henk @ Gully Cat Tattoo : Austin Tx.

This man is one of the busiest people I have ever followed on the internet. Every time I check out his website he has something new and interesting posted. The very Talented Mr. Henk attended the Seattle Tattoo Expo www.seattletattooexpo.com and I had the pleasure of talking to him at an after party hosted by Art Core Tattoo Seattle www.artcoreseattle.com. The man is very respectful and highly intelligent and had a lot to talk about, being very aware of his surroundings on a local and global level and exposing the truth of the state of affairs this country is hiding from the public. This man is well informed, which I believe is the driving force behind the strong dark images he produces. He is producing the illustrations for his upcoming horror novel"By Demons Driven" and writing a Mike Malone comic strip for Tattoo Artist Magazine  www.tattooartistmagazine.com I have a ton of respect for this man's refusal to give up from any personal losses that only he has the right to talk about. He is the definition of strength... You may enjoy more of Dan's work on his website www.danhenk.com and you can also contact him at Gully Cat Tattoo, Austin Tx.www.gullycattattoo.com. It is my personal honor to introduce the art of Dan Henk......

Well, It's that time time of the month again to bring to you another amazing artist! A man that needs no introduction, Joe Who. Joe is a well known black and grey artist specializing in Celtic knot work, bio-mechanical, and wizards that come in many forms. You will find Joe at his shop www.piercedheartstattooparlor.com. I have the privilege to work for this man and I find myself asking the same question over and over. "How in the fuck does he do that?!?!" He is one of the best in the world when it comes to Celtic work, which he designs himself and has created a definite recognizable style that only Joe Who can produce. I am now going to let the man's work speak for itself, enjoy!

The tattoos were done by Adam at New Wave Tattoo Studio www.newwavetattoo.co.uk. Alicia proves that large scale tattoos aren't stereotyped to only men. These bold and dark tattoos reflect her taste for anatomical illustration that transform the body into a very powerful statement .

That's all for now folks! Let's get this party started!

How-do people! Welcome to the first of many blogs about just a few of many things we find ourselves passionate about here at Devilution Ink, Tattoos, Heavy Music and of course......tattoos on beautiful women.  I'm really excited about starting this blog for many reasons, one of which is to pay tribute and show respect to all of the people I admire that are working in some of the MOST difficult industries to make a living and succeed in. It really seems as though the music and tattooing industries are saturated with a lot of bullshit and hype nowadays, and I feel it is my obligation to shed as much light as possible on the true contenders and champions of these mediums of sight and sound. These artists are the shaman of our culture, for past, present and future generations to come. These people have all payed tremendous dues, they sell their souls to pursuing a career that is driven by a real passion for their craft.  So fasten your seat belts and enjoy the shit that is about to spew out of mine and my cohort's mouths for as long as we are allowed to do this!

CHEERS!
